Play-Based Therapy For Kids


Parents might find it confusing when they take their young child to a therapist only to see the therapist start to play with their child, rather than talk about the issue at hand. Play therapy can offer a unique peek into the mind of a small child that talk therapy can’t. Many small children simply lack the words needed to explain complex emotions, but they can act them out in play.
