Bowen Health, Indiana’s largest community mental health center and a nonprofit healthcare organization, is proud to announce the grand opening and ribbon cutting at the new Bowen Health – Wabash location. After operating in Wabash County for over 60 years at a previous location, Bowen Health broke ground on a brand-new facility in June 2025. Staff began caring for patients at the new building on Monday, November 2.
In addition to continuing the emotional health, physical health, and addiction recovery services offered at the former facility, the Wabash community will now have access to dental care at the new Bowen Health location.
“After serving the residents of Wabash County for more than six decades, Bowen Health is incredibly proud of the meaningful work done and the connections built throughout the community,” said Lori Augustus, Bowen Health Executive Director – Southeast Indiana and Wabash native. “This new location offers not only a larger space for community members to receive continued services from the same friendly providers and staff, but an opportunity for even more integrated care with the addition of dental services.”
Operating hours at the new location (located at 1649 Bowen Dr., Wabash, IN 46992) are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
