Controlling Asthma


Asthma affects an estimated 10-12 percent of children worldwide. Usually, asthma is no more than a minor inconvenience. It is a condition where the airways in the lungs narrow, temporarily making breathing difficult. But in rare cases, it can be deadly. Asthma can't be cured, but it can be controlled. In today’s episode of Mind Body Bowen, Dr. Alex Tanase, a Bowen Health pediatrician, talks with Dr. Siquilla Liebetrau, Bowen Health’s director of clinical services, about caring for patients with asthma.
